Mt Pleasant Medical Centre is a friendly general practice dedicated to providing high quality care to you and your family.

Our practice uses and shares healthcare information through a system called HealthOne.

What is HealthOne?
HealthOne is a secure electronic record used across the South Island. It lets doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in your care quickly see important information like your test results, allergies, medications, GP notes, and hospital visits.

Only authorised healthcare providers can access your information, and only when they’re directly involved in your care. HealthOne follows the rules of the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code 2020, and the system is regularly checked to keep your information safe.

Practice Plus: After-Hours Virtual GP Appointments

Need to see a GP after hours? With Practice Plus, you can book a same-day virtual consultation with a trusted doctor – just a click away.

Practice Plus works alongside your usual medical centre to provide support when your regular GP is unavailable. It’s a convenient way to access care from the comfort of your home.

Hours of service:

  • Weekdays: 5pm – 8pm

  • Weekends & Public Holidays: 8am – 8pm
